Technical Architecture

Objectify disconnected architecture model ensures that the Content Management or Knowledge Management Systen DOES NOT impact the running of the live sites - this disconnected model ensures greater up-time during servicing of the CMS / KMS server and during product upgrades.
This architecture model ensures that you can host your live sites where you need to - internally externally or central IT shared service department dependant or your organisations policy. Componentization of the architecture also facilitates unlimited scalability options.

Additionally , NO client-side software is required - all Objectify products are delivered as a web application via the CMS / KMS server, therefore greatly reducing administration costs and security risks

Metadata

The Australian Government Locator Service (AGLS) is the default metadata
schema offered by Objectify. Non technical content authors can easily create and
modify Metadata by simply selecting from drop down menus, adding identifiers and
values. If the AGLS schema is not your preferred option, integrating an alternative
Metadata schema is possible with Objectify.

Site Builder

Objectify Site Builder provides the ability for cosmetic site template changes is given back to your organisation rather than depnding on vendors or your high end technical staff, thus conserving valuable and expensive IT resources. This massively reduces existing site template maintenance timeframes and task complexity.

Policies and Procedures

The Online Policies and Procedures system allows easy management, categorisation, approval and promotion of client's policies and procedures. It includes advanced features such as an integrated Policies and Procedures Thesaurus so that information is easily search-able. It includes a General Step library for the re-use of common procedural steps, a Procedure Library, and a Flowcharting Layer. Information on the live site can be displayed as an overview, steps and a flowchart.

Alerts & Tasks

The Alerts & Tasks module allows system users to create alert and task packages to distribute information such as meeting actions, new employee information, an update to customer services information, a new event, etc., to people or groups of people to read records. Recipients can also be asked to confirm that they have read and understood the information. Alerts & Tasks senders can track who has confirmed that they have read and understood records, and report on who hasn't. Alerts & Tasks are sent out via email and / or SMS - important for reaching people in the field.
