Events Manager - KMS

Managing corporate events or business unit events is an extremely important task. Media releases, campaigns, functions, technology upgrades all required scheduling and communication. Objectify lets you index your events by day and lets users browse them via an interactive calendar. 

Key Features

The Events Manager Knowledge Management module can save time in promoting and organising events for staff and customers. Events are managed securely in one place, and published to any number of sites automatically. Some or all of the event information can be published to the target site, for example additional information might be available on the Intranet but not on the Internet. Events can also be set to recur.

Events can be presented in calendar or list form or both - to best suit the needs of audiences and sites. The Events Manager also facilitates flexible searching - via date, month, and / or category - to automatically promote key and upcoming events.

Business Application

Your training department wants to promote a new schedule of training sessions every week. By creating a event calendar their non-technical resources can update the website with timetables every week and have schedules available months in advance.

Description

Knowledge Management content authors add new events by selecting the date from the interactive calendar. By clicking on the date they can insert a new event template, which can be
modified with their specific event details. Multiple events can be added for specific days and default text can be included for days that do not have any specific events.
